| "Linda Abbott and I started painting early at Tunnel View last fall but we were so cold that we had to jump up and down to get warm. Linda's paints were freezing on her palette so I just brought out my painting knife and moved fast. We had to pack it in after a while, as we could not move our fingers out in that air. I finished the painting in my warm El Portal studio." | |
